FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is OWA Labs?

OWA Labs is a personal project portfolio for software, systems integration, infrastructure, hardware and technical experiments. Feel free to get in touch if I can support you with your project.

Is OWA Labs a 3D-printing service?

No. 3D printing is one area within the projects, but OWA Labs is neither a shop nor a traditional 3D-printing service. I do, however, use my knowledge and experience to support friends, acquaintances and project partners in turning ideas into working projects. This includes expertise in IT, CAD, product design and technical development, as well as many years of experience in process optimization within the chemical industry.

Are the projects finished?

Not necessarily. OWA Labs intentionally presents projects that are still under active development. The current status is shown as transparently as possible on each project page. The long-term goal is to make publicly presented projects available as open-source projects wherever possible. Internal, private or otherwise non-public projects are not presented on this website.

Are all projects open source?

Not yet. Whether a project is open source and under which license the source code is published is decided individually for each project. The project page and the corresponding GitHub repository provide the current information about availability and licensing.

Can I provide feedback?

Yes, absolutely. Feedback, ideas and suggestions for improvement are very welcome. Depending on the project, GitHub Issues can be used for this. The contact page is also available for general exchange and inquiries.

Why are there multiple languages?

OWA Labs is available in German, English, Turkish and Russian so that the projects and content are accessible and understandable to different audiences.
